Charitable Activities and Feedback

The 300M Club has engaged in a number of charitable acts since its inception.  We are a blessed organization with great members and we often share that by helping others less fortunate.  This page is dedicated to those efforts.

2008

Tails of Hope, August 2008
$500 Donation to help find homes for sheltered pets.

"Tails of Hope Sanctuary is an organization which rescues shelter animals who are in trouble. These animals may have simply run out of time at the shelter, or have correctable health or behavioral needs which we address before they become available for adoption. Either way, we provide a safe place for them while they await a permanent home, and we free up much-needed space at shelters. Currently, our Sanctuary is actually a network of foster care providers."

Jeff Panek Memorial Foundation, August 2008
$500 to support The Jeff Panek Memorial Foundation.

The Foundation was started by John Panek who lost his son Jeff in a tragic automobile accident on Fathers day June 12, 2007. After a fundraiser at the restaurant where Jeff worked, he decided to donate the proceeds to the Victory Junction Gang Camp. As a father who lost his son, to another father who lost his son, this past May 1st at Richmond International Raceway, he presented Kyle Petty a check for $1062. Since then John has decided to continue the fundraising efforts for the Victory Junction Gang Camp in his son's memory...
