"The Foundation was started by John Panek who lost his son Jeff in a tragic automobile accident on Fathers day June 12, 2007. After a fundraiser at the restaurant where Jeff worked, he decided to donate the proceeds to the Victory Junction Gang Camp. As a father who lost his son, to another father who lost his son, this past May 1st at Richmond International Raceway, he presented Kyle Petty a check for $1062. Since then John has decided to continue the fundraising efforts for the Victory Junction Gang Camp in his son's memory..."
