A block of 20 rooms for people who are going to the Dream Cruise and on to the Brampton, Ontario Plant tour has been established. The host hotel for the Club will be the Embassy Suites-Southfield, located in Southfield, Michigan. The room rate for either a King w/a pullout couch, or two double beds with a pullout couch is $99 [your choice subject to availability]. Reservations with a credit card can be made by calling (248) 350-2000, and you must mention that this is for the "Chrysler 300M Enthusiasts Club" to get the $99 rate. Although some may feel the rate is high, I can assure you it is much cheaper than their normal rate and is competitive with other hotels in the area, and the rate includes a free "made to order" or buffet breakfast for all room guests, and a free Manager's Happy Hour [booze and snacks] in the late afternoon. The hotel allows a 3-day window on either side of the arrival and departure date for early arrivals or late departures and at the same room rate.

We will have a small function room near the Lobby [and bar] for registration, and probably a pizza fest late afternoon into the early evening as people arrive on Friday, August 19.

The hotel is just a short drive from Woodward Avenue where the Cruise is held. We will have water hook-up on the side of the hotel to wash cars prior to the Cruise and for the car judging event. Please bring buckets, a hose, etc. if you are able to do so. The parking lot is large and we will have a great area for our car judging on Sunday morning.

Dinner will be at Copper Canyon Brewery around 7pm

Brampton Details:

The hotel will be the Holiday Inn - Select in Brampton, Ontario for a block of 20 rooms for the Club. 2 Double Beds per room, non-smoking, and a buffet breakfast for up to four in the a.m. Cost per night is about $96. [C$110 + 12% tax] Reservations are available via (905) 792-9900 with a major credit card and tell them you are part of the Chrysler 300M Club group.

Dinner Sunday Night will be at La Capannina Restaurant on August 21 about 6:15 p.m. That should make it really easy to get up to Brampton on Sunday during the day, relax, shower and get ready for a great Italian dinner.  Monday night dinner we will play by ear with the remaining group members.

The Plant Tour will be on Monday at 10am (subject to change as final details are still being worked out).  We may have an in-plant car show for about 6 - 10 cars.  Those cars will arrive at 8am for setup and then join the other members at 10am for the tour.  The tour will take about 2 hours.  Lunch will follow (in plant?).  Car Show participants will keep cars on site until 5pm to allow 2nd shift workers to view the cars.  Monday night dinner will be organized for all staying until Tuesday morning.

Leisurely Cruise to Brampton Ontario (250 miles, 4 hours) 12am

Please make your reservation as soon as you ascertain that you will be able to attend this event.  Our drop-dead date for reservations is July 19, 2005.  Once our room block figure, or drop-dead reservation date is reached, the hotel will try to accommodate late reservations, but cannot guarantee that it will be able to do so.
