Re: Security Lock Box Installation in the trunk 2004 Chrysler 300M

This question is way off the general trend of maintenance topics, but I figured someone who knows the 300M inside and out may offer some advice. My current project is this:

Where inside the trunk can I attach a security lockbox cable? I've looked around inside the trunk and can't find an available/exposed beam or strut that can serve as an attachment point. Any suggestions or ideas would be highly appreciated?

The lockbox in question is a Hornady Lock Box XXL and the cable is about 4 feet long, but wrapped around a "beam" and maybe attached back onto the lockbox is about 2 feet.

Nothing is exposed. There is a beam between the strut towers, behind the black mat at the top.
