I just finished replacing my driver's side door stay and discovered I could have used a couple more interior screws. Seems like every time I do some interior work I'm either missing one. two or more screws or I have a couple left over. I always put those up in a safe place but never can find them again when I need them.
Other than the dealership, and the salvage yard where do we buy them?

1. Salvage yard.
2. See if anyone here has extras they can mail you.

Whenever I putt something at the yard, if the fasteners for that widget are still clean and not corroded, I pocket them.

I would be interested in any that are used in securing interior trim parts like the dash and door panels. Some of them have what appears to be a little larger diameter, flatter surface under the cross-point screw (also hex) head (manufactured that way) and some look like standard cross-point. All are black and I'm guessing black is standard regardless of what color interior. Also, all are roughly 1" long.
I have a FSM and will thumb thru the general info section and also the interior trim section to see if there is any particular mention of them.
