We had a poll for this a year ago (2017) .

Our cars continue to age and we have many new members. So it's time for an update to see the breakdown of the number of miles on our cars. EVEN IF YOU RESPONDED TO LAST POLL, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS LATEST POLL.

NOTE: IF YOU OWN MORE THAN ONE LH VEHICLE you may enter up to 4 vehicles in the poll. Please round your mileage up or down to the nearest miles listed. Remember to convert kilometers to miles. This poll will run till June 17th. Only respond to poll once.

Feel free to add any comments to this topic.

If your car has over 300k miles, state your exact mileage as well as select the closest mileage in the poll options.

AT CLOSE OF THIS POLL, AVERAGE OF RESPONSES WILL BE POSTED ON 2ND PAGE..........

I have about 84,000 miles on my M. I only drive it about 1500 miles a year now so it will be quite awhile before it hits 100,000.

I am having several repairs done to it to prolong it's life. What I am having done is the TB, water pump service, flex pipe replacement, radiator, all hoses, serpentine belt and idler pulley, thermostat, gas tank straps, sway bar bushings, outer tie rods, and new front tires. Will also get an algnment. Recently had all strut assemblies replaced and replaced all brake lines.

I hope the thousands I spent on repairs will make it dependable for my limited driving. By keeping this lower value but good driving and good looking car, the benefits are I I no longer insure it for collision so have a low insurance bill , have a low excise bill, and zero car payments. If I bought a newer car, on top of the many l thousands for the car itself, I would have higher insurance rates, sales tax on purchase, higher excise tax, and it would still need maintenance and repairs down the road.

DARKFIRE has 176,000 miles

EVIL Sickness has 171,000 miles

Dont know if it should count but SILVER DEVIL had 127,000 miles
Well, I still have MOST of it. Everything except : trunk lid, rear bumper,
rear exhaust, left rear tail-lamp, left fender and main shell w/ front windshield.
( Everything else is in my attic, shed, basement or back yard )

I have 420121 on my 2001 300M and 80939 on my 2002 300M. Just joined and look forward to getting help maintaining both as they age.

Easyrider asked for a little more information on my 300M's. The high mileage 2001 was purchased used in January of 2007 with 178000 miles on it. I was looking for a used 300M after totaling my 2000 Intrepid. I figured a 300M owner would take better care of a Chrysler than the used Intrepid's I was finding. This car looked great! Other than the high mileage I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I paid $4700 cash and have now put 242000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Just recently I started getting a transmission code that the torque convertor is not locking up and just replaced the injector on #1. But the car still drives great, so I have decided
to see how long the transmission will last. (It just doesn't lock up and drop rpm's at highway speed. Too me 200rpm's is not that big a deal).

The 2002 was purchased for my wife in 2008 with 53098 miles. So in 10 years she has driven 27841 miles. They are both Stone White/Tan and when you see them in the driveway side by side it is hard to tell which one has more miles!

Hi all - Kind of a bittersweet day for us - our Bright Platinum 1999 300M was totaled today. My son was driving it. Apparently a brake line popped because he was slowing down in traffic and the brake warning light came on, then the pedal went to the floor. He couldn't stop in time to avoid the car in front of him. NO INJURIES Thank GOD!

148,000 plus miles.

On the other hand...our Stone White 2000 still runs perfectly at 318,524 miles!

Man that is Awesome I hope and Pray I can Get there Getting close to 200k right now I have a Long list of things I have to do in order to get there assuming nothing Catastrophic Happens to my Engine or Tranny.
The Biggest concerns are the Lower Intake Coolant Tube the metal one that runs through to the back seems to be a bit on the rotted side but looks like it will hold up for a bit .
The other is Head Gaskets While I don't have a Coolant/Oil Mix or Coolant mix it does seem to sweat a Little Oil not enough to leave a puddle Just enough for concern.
I fear having to do the Gaskets mostly because of the removal of the Timing Sprockets.
Hey I love the Yellow Fog Lights btw. Did you use that Vinyl Wrap or Just Yellow Bulbs.
Thanks

Racking up mileage rather quickly now that the wife uses it to drive 45-50 miles one way to work ( I currently drive a 2004 PT Cruiser Touring Edition project car I bought from a kid at work for $100). Last I checked 164k when I replaced the spark plugs and one coil about a week ago.

Both Ms have been used to commute year around even in snow by my wife and I. So we are now at 220K+ and 120K+. No chronic issues to speak off, these are reliable as a 2 year old cars.
I let the Proam go at 240K and car was still getting regular daily use.
Kudos to the 400K miles guys...

I've been gone for a while and have been babying my 300. It's a 1999 Bright platinum M with 56k miles. She has a brake line issue that has brought me back to the forum. Glad to see it's still going. Thanks!
