C now yall got me thunkin bout that thur redneck thingy ma dilly and well Im prolly not the only one on hur that can say Im an urban redneck so instead of them thur CB radios I use my good ole PSP and search for them thur wi-fi connections. Or I pull out the 2 way radios and press scan to listen for local folks actin like fools. Now Ima get back to watchin missed episodes of Sons Of Anarchy till my Blue Collar Comedy Tour comes on.

Wild East? :)
Not that scary, in fact.
But layoffs are coming, and robbery attempts will be more frequent. Militia (we call it "militia", but in fact it is plain old police) will do they work, citizens should help as much as they can :)

Sometime in the near I would like to install a CB in tundra. Yes I'll have the antenna whips too. Call me redneck or not it doesn't bother me. I see the antenna whips all the time on junk pickup trucks around town.

I had a 1993 Chevy Explorer High-top conversion van before I bought the M (Had around 245,000 miles on it when I sold it). That thing was all decked out....Had one of those older (circa 1992) Radioshack CB's with a PA System on the outside so you could talk to pedestrains and such. Got in so much trouble with that thing. Really fun though :)

I'm looking for a good place to mount one in the M. Somewhere out of sight. I definatley miss it on the long trips.

they come in such small sizes now, I'm sure you could easily mount it in the center console.

I think they have handhelds, too, although I may be wrong on that one.

Bringing back an old thread but now I want to put a small CB radio in my 300M just like the one at the beginning of this thread. Does Cobra make a power cord that connects directly into the Cigarette outlet without having to wire the radio into the fuse panel?

Also here are some pics of my CB radio on my truck. Yes its redneck I know. I can't pull into parking decks without them hitting. Already replaced a set after running through a parking deck.
Cobra Radio $119 wholesale
International CB antennas 4ft radio and weather band $16 Each
Tuned at CB shop $25
mounts $10
Coax wiring $16

Are there actually CB Shops???

Looks like you can replace the hard wired connection with a Cig Lighter one.
