So I developed a relationship with the owner of SCT Performance here in Orlando Florida through a mutual friend and business owner. SCT is a huge company that specializes in Ford programmers. They have one Chrysler/Dodge product available at this time.

I've been working with them over the last couple weeks in convincing them that they need to develop a programmer for our LH model cars. They have agreed and I have a meeting setup for Thursday this week to meet with one of their engineers to go over a design. One of the questions they asked me is what are we looking for in the programmer. What features, settings and configurations do we want to do with the cars? What items are we looking to be able to modify on the fly or what do we want as a standard. Please let me know all of your inputs and ideas so when I meet with them on Thursday I have something to share with them. Also I want to see who may be interested in something like this for your LH series cars. Please pass this information on (I'll post something on DI) to all who may have a LH car and let's see if we can get SCT to develop something for us.

* Spark Advance Curve, F/A Ratio, Idle Air Adjust (to get idle under control w/ bored TB), Eliminate RPM limited forced shift points, I will give this more thought and add as needed.
GREAT EFFORT - I HOPE THIS WORKS OUT!

Tell Jerry to jump on this.
And yes, you can get more MPG - not just about performance - the items I listed above could be used for economy tuning.

Agreed. I would like more mpg. However, will the design only work on 02 and later? Will there also be a 98-01 design? Can we swap gears and be able to program that on the fly for 02 and later?

This would be amazing if executed properly.I would love to see a few more ponies at the wheel, even if only 10 hp is achieved it would be well worth it.

I am interested based on cost. Id like to see limiter moved up some timing issues resolved. Will it be customizable for people with modifications? If it's under $350 I would have no problem with it.

We discussed doing all the models... How many different PCM/ECU's do we have from 99-04 and what are the part numbers?

You have at least the 99-01 PCM/TCM combos and then the 02-04 PCM - where the TCM is integrated.
Some one else (PM Bill) will need to provide the p/n's.

I think the rev limiter should be turned DOWN to no more than 5,800-6,000 rpm--these motors spin too fast for what the bottom end (bearings) can handle - everybody who wants the rev limit raised should start saving up for a new motor now. :P

Here's the parallel discussion that Jason is alluding to:
