2.7L Valve Spring Compressor Tool Help

Hi, does anyone know what tool to use on the 2.7L Engine to remove the valve springs in 2018? I'm in the process of changing valve seals, but, I'm stuck, the Valve spring compressor that I rented an OEM Tool# 27040 does not fit. There's no space up there at all. Please, I know it's gotta be somebody on here that know what tool to use. I think there's a punch type that You hit with a hammer, but, I'm not comfortable with it. It's 2018, and I'm sure some of the old tools that were being used may have been discontinued. But, I know someone must've done this job recently and can help Me with a tool that's gonna work.

Thanks Everyone.

Hi Ned,
You would need a way to compress the valves against their seat with such tools. You could use compressed air, some people use rags but I'd avoid that. Best way to do that job is to get a universal C type spring compressor and remove the heads from the engine. Sure you'd have to replace the head bolts and gasket but it makes the job a lot safer IMO.

I appreciate Your response remi. But, After much help from another forum, and after 5 months of battling with it I gave up and was able to only do one bank less 4 Valves (Right last 2 intake valves). The compressor that I bought did not make it easy at all. So I'm just going to to wrap it up and hope that I was able to somewhat solve the burning issue...
