I think DRL is mandatory in Canada or something, so provisions had to be made for the M to be readily available with DRL. ANY M can use this module, it plugs into the Junction Block, you can see the spot labeled for it behind the endcap where the fuses are.

Just wanted to inform people who want this module. The cheapest price I could find was from Rick Hendrick. $66.50. Ask for Jeff and tell him Kumar sent you.

Anybody else find this part for cheap, let me know?? Rick Hendrick will match that price for me.

My local 5 Star quoted me $101. Don't buy one in Greenville.

I have decided to remove mine because I am adding some custom high beam bulbs from Dan Stern that are not suited for DRL use. My DRL is modified with the 4 headlight mod to keep the DRLs ON even when the low beam headlights are on.

Is anyone interested in this modified DRL module for $50

Don, how did you do the mod to your DRL module. I have seen some other members do it as well. I would like my high beam to stay on even when my low beams on. Thanks

It is done by removing one of the pins.

Rob has a great how to here. ... me_runnin/

If you look at the second picture it shows the six pins.

In that picture it is the bottom left pin that has to be removed.

Alright I have the DRL in and the high beam works. I forgot to do the mod for the high beams to work with the low beams. I however cannot remove the module back. There is no room to squeeze both ends of the module to pull it back. How can I remove the module??

Trade secret! You have to make a tool to access the back side.

Alright, you know I am gonna ask you to share your secret. What do I actually need to do.
Is it squeeze the tab on the other side just like one on the outer side.
Or pull the tab on the other side
Or is it something completely different.

This is driving me nuts, I tried about 20 minutes in removing that and all I could remove is my skin and flesh of my body. I am not joking on this one.
