I am getting annoyed with the light color leather and today somehow a black pen ink got all over my leather. How do I get the stuff out? I tried scrubbing and scrubbing with Leather cleaners and nothing.

Little help?

Try Hair Spray. Aqua Net extra strength works well on ink on fabric. Not sure how well it will do on leather, or if it will take off the dye, so test carefully.

These take everything of. Be sure to apply some conditioner, as all protection will be stripped.

I highly agree these things are magic. But as others have stated, take care of how much pressure and water you're using. too much pressure with not enough water and you will noticeably lighten the leather.

You can feather in around the area to make it less noticeable if you overdo it. Afterall it is basically a sanding sponge.

Bit of an old thread, but I did watch a video last night related to this.

Leather cleaner or diluted APC (I use 10:1 for interiors) to start. If that doesn't work, break out the magic eraser. Follow it with a good leather protectant, as it will sand away the top layer of clearcoat and make it susceptible to cracking and more dirt.

Professional detailer had to resort to magic eraser on a 1991 Bently Turbo R with cream leather interior. Seats, door cards, console, dash... all cream leather, all filthy after 28 years. He spent 3 hours cleaning it with a Zymol leather cleaner and magic eraser and soft-bristle leather brush. That was another trick, don't just use plain water, mix in a good leather cleaner.
