Great write-up. But for the record, the first Indy Meet was in 2007 and this years meet was number 7.

Damn. I apologize. I could swear someone said this was #5... Will correct.

Got to give credit where credit is due- Bob did quite a lot of tweaking on the Allpar "M"... (Perhaps he'll help me rehang my fascia at Carlisle??)

I had a great time observing the club for the first time and getting to experience the heart beat of the 300M Enthusiasts.

I had hoped to use my own 300M as nothing more than a daily driver for however long the 3.5 gives me until it spins bearings, leaving my vans for show. I planned to do some mods, but had decided not to put much stock in it for fear of what seemed an inevitable motor implosion. After meeting all of you, I drove out of Indy with the frank realization that it wasn't just a DD anymore...

Thank you. Although I am just a conduit. The meet itself was great! I think it's cool that we are able to bridge with Allpar not just because of the Mopar thing, but because Mr. Allpar himself owned my 300M.

In an age where Chrysler clubs are inundated with seemingly endless HEMI's (Charger, 300, Magnum, Challenger, Grand Cherokee) and enough modded RAM trucks to bore anyone senselessly... it's nice to give the spotlight to cars that don't necessarily fill that common mold.

You don't see very many LH cars anymore. They sort of quietly drove off into the pages of history. But for those Allpar members who still have one, seeing an article about a current Enthusiasts group may help to spark some interest.

Here's to more M's at Allpar NJ in September!
