On a whim, I pulled the fuse for the tcm/pcm (fuse W) , waited 15 minutes and then reinstalled. It started up with no code. In two separate trips, I drove a total of 15 miles in mixed driving. The tranny didnt miss a beat...shifted perfectly. If I don't get any codes in the next 20 miles, I may have the tranny fluid/filter replaced as it's 12 years old and was done 30k miles ago. Fluid is pink and doesnt smell burnt. Hoping for the best. Fingers crossed.

I did that with my trans. codes. Unfortunately, the code reared its ugly head again. I believe it comes on after 100-150 miles of driving if the code has popped up before.

Usually comes back after 100-150 miles.

Hoping you are the exception!

When this issue first arose, we reset code using scanner. Within a mile it went into limp mode again. After pulling fuse W , it has run for 40 miles without going into limp mode or setting a code. If it still had the same issue, I would think it would have reoccured by now. But “time will tell. ”
