I am replacing my emergency brakes and have come across a very rusty actuator switch which I would like to replace. I cannot find this part's name. I have found the picture of it on the Parking Brake Job thread 3rd page along with some information on loosening up the rusty part in the knowledge base. Also, how do I get it off? Does the piece at the end of the cable screw off?

google search this.
5073648aa adjuster lever.JPG

there is a tool to remove the cable (emergency brake cable release tool) . one of these will make it easier to remove the cable but doable without one. It basically pulls the spring back and holds it in place as you unhook it from the adjuster lever.

Left side is what FalKen provided. 5073648aa. I found and purchased the part from $75.48. The right side was a little harder to find. Part Number 5073645aa. If this is correct, there is a seller on E Bay. They are verifying the part number with my VIN. I will know tomorrow if this part is available. A backup plan would be much appreciated as the right side seems to be tough to find. I will keep the parts I am replacing for some one who needs them.

Let me know if you find a different part number for it after you hear back.
