I did ask Ryan Riley way back when (V2 creator) for the .cad file (It might've been cad, i'm not 100%)...and due to it being a student version it was created on, or something of that nature, it couldnt be shared.

I'm excited to see this come into fruition.. Not that i've even put my spacer in yet.. Took me almost 2 years to get a modified EGR tube!

I would like 2 of them as well.

If you didn't even put you's in yet,
couldn't you loan it to FIREM to
get this project going ?

( Im guessing Sneak_Eyes couldn't find his ? )

Actually I just found mine tonight doing some cleaning. I'll pm Bob about it, that should get this going again.

Are they useful on stock engines? It seems like I read that the spacer used with a MaxBore throttle body worked well. I would be interested if there are gains with them.

Let me clear on the potential for this project:
1) I mush have a sample in hand to proceed. EDIT Ryan just PM'd me will ship spacer soon
2) Will consult with our other school as to the possibility they can copy it
3) If approved "we" will need to cover the cost of material
4) Student Projects are a learning experience and take TIME to happen.
5) IF all this occurs we could have a run of spacers.

Doug: Main increase as I understand is is low end torque. Some have done spacer only and been happy. Obviously both spacer and throttle body would be best but throttle body can be easily be done after the spacer.

I have done spacer only on both my Intrepid and my Special.

I can definitely feel the difference in low end power.

I actually gave the spacer to one of our engineers at work. He has made a drawing of it, but I still need to measure the width and depth of the gasket groove and give it to him so he can finish it. Once that is done, i'll have an accurate cad file. Then we can take that wherever we wish and have a possible run done. Or, there is a machine shop we use at work. I can call and talk with them about setting up some sort of ordering and price per unit or price per order (several pieces).

Obviously, the bigger the run the better break on price. (normally)
If I can remember to measure the groove, I can give it to him.

Well I don't know the current status on the subject but I have a 99 plenum that I can measure the groove depth if needs be. Bob let me know if you're interested (in all the stuff I packed for moving, that's probably the only easy part to grab...).
