I'm not a new member but, I just got it back from paint and couldn't be happier. It's been a long time coming. I bought this car as a project, it needed to have the engine rebuilt and have some minor body work. I had the mirrors, B-pillars, and C-pillars painted body color. There are so many things I have done to it I couldn't list them all

The car looks quite nice. Could you elaborate on the engine rebuilt? did you get it done by a shop? Have you though about getting more power out of it or do other mechanical mods?

I pulled the motor and stripped it down to the bare block. I took the block, heads, and crankshaft to a machine shop, but I did the reassembly. I replaced all the internals ie: bearings, pistons, oil pump. As far as performance mods all I did was get really lucky and found a member who was selling a intake spacer and I quick snatched it up.

Nice look with the body color and stripe to offset the "Special' body moldings.

The car looks great!
I love the B and C pillar treatment in graphite metallic.
Great job restoring it - that is a car you should be very proud of!

Nice! THe body-color pillar-work is a very nice touch, easily pulled off by PDR.

Very nice! Was it a complete repaint or just the pillars and body cladding?

Everything is sooo right about the picture, until you see the snow. YUCK!!! Who is ready for the snow to go away. Fantastic looking car. I may be color biased.

Love the contrast between the grey and black. The red stripe makes it pop... well done... Now if we can get rid of that white stuff...

Thank you all for the compliments. Agreed about the white stuff, Beespecial it was a complete repaint but the graphite metallic is the original color of the car.

It looks great and obviously I have a color bias, but there's just one more thing it needs...and that's to get it to Carlisle PA in July. Will we see you there?

I'm want to go to Carlisle really badly, but I dont know if it will be in the cards this year. We are hopefully buying our first house this year, so all of our "extra" money is going to that. I'm really pushing for next year though
