If you are certain that you want a set of clear sidemarker lenses for $140-$150 please add your name to the list below. We will do this much like the registration for Carlisle. If you would like more than one set please put the quantity next to your name.

This will only include the lenses, you will need to use your own housings. We need a minimum of 10 to produce and a set to make the mold from.

One thing I would suggest before getting into this - find a brand of replacement lamp assemblies that we can order enough of and make sure this is what’s used for the mould. There will be slight differences and we don’t want to find out the new lenses don’t fit on most of our housings. We could do it off if OEM assemblies, but I’m concerned they may be difficult to disassemble without cracking at this point.

I recently went to order aftermarket assemblies and found them hard to find, even in amber. I had several orders cancelled due to them being discontinued by the manufacturer.

This is important to me - I'd be in to buy a set of these, but what are we using as a basis for these clear lenses to install in/onto?

We need to make that determination first.

I provided Amber with pictures and measurements of OEM fixtures and lenses for working with Klearz. these are still readily available in scrap yards, but as Steve noted may not be the best route going forward as something less brittle and newer may be more appropriate. I will take on the project over the next couple of days to find out how easy it is to remove the actual OEM lenses from the OEM housings. I have a couple of these laying around. I'm hoping for a little heat and a razor blade knife, but we will see. I still have a set of clear lenses that I bought earlier this year from Keith. They look like they were once mounted, but cleaned up pretty good when removed. I will report back.

I’m hoping we have a few options in terms of the finishing. (Frosted, clear, smoked etc)

I chatted with Amber over the weekend. I dug around in my basement and located the original amber set from Luna, still in the box that my clear lamps had shipped to me in. I will be sending my OEM amber lamps to Klearz to use for molding the clear lenses from.

Sonicrob,
The " smoked " versions are basically a tinted lens with a black housing
( no reflector, 100% useless in the daytime )
Still got a set on The EVIL Sickness.
Honestly, I don't recommend them.

Going with switch back led tube inside them pressed against the front plastic,. It will work with my application. I understand that this would not be ideal with a standard bulb setup.

Tonight I spent about an hour taking apart an OEM parking/flasher light. The lens came off fairly easy with a bit of heat and some prying. It does beat up the housing and lens slightly, but for the most part after the housing is cleaned up with a Dremel tool or by another means, new OEM lenses should fall right into place and with a bit of an adhesive caulk, should seal well. I have included pictures of the housing, the amber lens, and an old clear lens from a set I have around. It is obvious that the old clear lens was modeled after the OEM lens,
