Right now I'm in the process of restomodding a 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T. Plans are to have it putting out over 700 HP when done. I'm using the original TIII 2.2 but being built to the max.

Good luck with your plans. Are you planning to race it? I have a 1989 LeBaron GTC Turbo II, which is mostly stock. Probably putting out about 200HP from my 2.2L at 15PSI using a performance Direct Connection computer. Enjoy!!

Those LeBarons are nice cars and 200 HP will move you along nicely. I'm hoping to run my R/T in some open track events and high speed events. Not really into drag racing but may have to do some 40 rolls on the street to shut Ricers up. :)

Thanks! Here's a photo of mine. Just 906 of these "Shelby-ized" GTC verts were made in 1989! Pretty rare beast, but so are the Spirit RTs, I believe. Good luck with yours!

Very sweet LeBaron. I always liked the body style. It looks exotic, while my Spirit R/T looks like 3 boxes joined together. :)

Beautiful car. I remember when those came out as I worked for a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer back then. Mid 80s to 90s Mopar really had some interesting cars.
