Robert, let me know if you still want these? It shouldn't be too difficult since I'm getting the mirrors.

Dcsally97,

Let me know what kind of price / deposit you would need for front & rear bumpers
& sway bars. ( if you feel so inclined to pull them )
I hope to be picking up the blue special from John in 2 weeks.
I am thinking of swinging by on the drive back to grab the parts
Or maybe hitting this yard and grabbing the parts myself.
Keep in mind this is all a " work in progress " sorta plan at this moment.
Gotta figure out how to carry these items back, tools, how far out of the way
etc.

Brian, the car was pretty much a bust. It had been moved which caused some damage. I got a few things off of it, but not much. Someone got the mirrors before I could. Enjoy the new ride.

Speaking of gauges. I have the 150 MPH speedometer from a Special. I am asking $60 shipped within the lower 48. I will post the picture when I get home. Upon close inspection, it looks like the left locating tab has been glued on. It seems to be holding and doesn't affect the function.

I think this would be covered by the shroud. I didn't notice it in the car.

After reading this thread I am curious, how much are special front bumpers going for now?

My '02 special has a near invisible crack on the bottom after bottoming out on a Pennsylvania pothole , not to mention many scuffs from the previous owner...

I'd be interested in having a spare in case the bumper ever splits, but perhaps it's worth it to do some fiber glass reinforcement behind the bumper and get the whole thing repainted....

Not sure I can swing a 'new' one if it's $$$

An intact bumper will go for between $300-600 depending on condition. If you can find one at a yard, much cheaper if you pull it.
