In another thread I read a suggestion to reset the ECM to let the computer learn the changes when someone switched from Autolite to NGK platinum plugs.

Does the suggestion of resetting the ECM still hold true if staying with the same plug just replacing with new ones?

John,
It never hurts to reset the PCM
I like to do that periodically!!

Thanks Tom. Yesterday I swapped out my NGK's for some new ones and I can tell that it's idling smoother already but that's the only change I've noticed so far. I'll do the reset tonight.

Have a great time in Carlisle and drink a beer for me. I wish I could be there.

I agree with Tom on the periodic reset. Just seems to run smoother............. I guess it automatically resets when I clean my battery connections..............

Thanks for reminding me of the battery connections. I'm probably due for some PM on those anyway. Maybe I'll just kill 2 birds with one stone.

Indy '08 :thumbsup
