K&N air filter for a 3.5L will this fit on a 2.7L

I have an European 2.7L 300M. I want a k&n air intake but this one is only available for a 3.5L. But I have look at pictures and I think that my air filter is the same like an 3.5L. I have the pictures of my air filter posted.
Does anyone know if this is true?

They make a Specific 2.7 kit. Look up the Intrepid/Concorde kits and there should be one listed there.

Thanks i have Looked they have a 2.7 kit for the Dodge intrepid K&N 57-1523 . Is that the same fit for a 300m ?

Yes that one will fit your M better than the 3.5 one will.

I just took off the K&N FIPK that i had for my 2.7, and put it right on the 3.5. Only difference was the lower bracket that mounts to the engine. I had to fabricate one.

Thanks for the help. I have instald the 2.7 intrepid kit. This was a perfect instalation without any modification.
