Wanna put on some cool treads?

Hi all,

When I look at the nice "Rims Shot" topic I ask myself if there is a problem to put all this different size of rims on ours M.
What I mean is: Do you have any problems with the speedometer informations? For example I think that with small wheels the speedometer shows a faster speed than the reality and vice versa.

Which tyre sizes are "approved by the law" for our 300?

Regards.

As long as you are around 26.7" in overall tire diameter you are golden...

Wheel size irrelevant so long as you maintain an overall tire diameter of 26.7". I went up in size to 245/40/20 (OEM size would be 245/35/20) to counteract potholes, and me speedo reads 5mph slow on the highway.

and i run 225/60/17's (stock 225/55/17)
they're about as tight as you can get without interference to the strut.

Hello everybody,

I cannot decide myself on my new rims size, 19" or 20"

I hesitate between this 19" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-19-Chrysl ... 895wt_1331

Or this 20" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-20-Dare-M ... 783wt_1331

I want to keep a little bit of comfort but I want rims that fill my wheels more than my factory 16" (Medaillon I think) for a 245/35 R20 or a 245/40 R19 tyre.

Any suggestions?

I like both, but the 19" looks a little better with the hub/lug covers IMO
